Practice Sites

Step into the heart of innovation at Family Pharmacy @ Las Colinas, which will serve as your primary practice site for immersive learning, patient care services, and real-world pharmacy leadership.

You’ll also gain hands-on experience across a variety of practice settings including our partner UT Austin College of Pharmacy and ambulatory care clinics to the Office of Health Mart. Each location is thoughtfully chosen providing you with the opportunity to develop professionally, form meaningful connections, and make a significant impact on patient care and the future of pharmacy.

To Join us you:

  • Must graduate from an ACPE-accredited PharmD program and be eligible for Texas pharmacist licensure
  • Should be motivated, capable of working independently, and possess strong communication skills
  • Possess a strong desire to advance independent community pharmacy
  • Aspire to advance your role beyond dispensing – including leadership, innovation, and pharmacy advocacy

Application Information & Requirements

Applications can be submitted using Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) beginning in November of each year. More information can be found at https://www.ashp.org/phorcas.

Applications are due January 5th, and must include the following:

  • Residency program application
  • Personal statement
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Three electronic letters of recommendation
  • Official College of Pharmacy transcript

Dr. Jaime Montuoro

Residency Program Director (RPD), PharmD

Dr. Jaime Montuoro, an experienced Residency Program Director, oversees the Health Mart residency program with deep expertise in clinical practice and education. As a graduate of a community-based residency and former ASHP practitioner surveyor for accreditation, Dr. Montuoro has guided residents, preceptors, and program directors, and helped launch new residency programs in partnership with national organizations. Residents working under her leadership benefit from her dedication to professional development, her skill in nurturing collaboration and innovation, and her commitment to fostering critical thinking. Her guidance helps ensure residents are well prepared for the evolving landscape of community pharmacy practice.

Dr. Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks

Residency Program Coordinator, PharmD, MBA

Dr. Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks serves as the Residency Program Coordinator, bringing together her experience as a graduate of a community-based residency, past residency coordinator/ preceptor, pharmacy manager and clinical pharmacist, and expert medical writer. She leverages this diverse background to guide residents through every aspect of their program—including guiding residents on their project management, leadership and development, and more. Her holistic mentorship extends beyond the technical, empowering residents to effectively tell their professional story, foster innovation, expand their network, and develop as leaders. Dr. Hoffmann-Eubanks is dedicated to supporting each resident’s growth across all dimensions of their residency program.

Dr. Britney Woods serves as the Pharmacy Management & Patient Care Preceptor. Her extensive background in community and hospital pharmacy combined with her leadership in patient care, partnerships, advisory boards, and education enables her to provide residents expert hands-on training. Dr. Woods is dedicated to equipping residents with the skills and confidence to make a meaningful impact within pharmacy practice and their communities. Her mentorship offers an invaluable opportunity for future pharmacy leaders to expand their influence, build meaningful community connections, and shape the future of community pharmacy.
